As an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the centre demonstrates a clear commitment to safe, ethical and professional practice. Its CPCAB-accredited training pathway includes CPCAB Level 2 Counselling Skills, CPCAB Level 3 Counselling Studies and the BACP-approved CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. Students are introduced to person-centred, psychodynamic, Gestalt and integrative theory, with the CPCAB Level 4 Course also providing a guaranteed 100-hour work placement, discounted counselling and supervision, as well as free CPD.
The centre’s contribution extends far beyond professional training. Its counselling services are delivered by BACP members, including accredited, Counsellors, as well as EMDR Therapists and are designed to provide a confidential and welcoming space for people facing relationship difficulties, bereavement, mental health challenges and other personal and professional concerns. Affordable counselling, trainee counselling and EMDR therapy further support the centre’s aim of making professional help more accessible.
A varied programme of wellbeing courses strengthens this community-focused approach.
