Each young person receives a bespoke support package addressing their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, with risk assessments completed prior to every placement and six-monthly quality assurance reports sent to placing authorities as standard practice.

Recreational activities, from sports and leisure to cultural and religious participation, are actively encouraged, fostering confidence, wellbeing, and the positive social connections that every young person needs to flourish. Positive contact with family and friends is supported, and the holistic therapeutic offer available to young people in ASHS homes, including access to Systemic and Family Psychotherapy, ensures that healing and growth go hand in hand with the development of independence.

From its founding, ASHS Ltd made a clear and deliberate choice: to operate its homes as though the semi-independent sector were already fully regulated, holding itself to the highest possible standards regardless of what the law requires.
