Education That Puts the Child First
For too many children, the conventional classroom is not a place of opportunity — it is a place of anxiety, exclusion, and unmet need. BESTuition was founded on the belief that this does not have to be the case. Operating across the West Midlands — with sessions in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Kingswinford, Cannock, and Tamworth — BESTuition provides holistic, therapeutic education for children and young people aged 5 to 18, whatever their abilities, whatever their circumstances, and whatever barriers they face.
It is with great pride that we present BESTuition with the Diamond Community Award for Contribution to Inclusive Education Support – West Midlands 2026. This accolade honours an organisation whose work goes far beyond tutoring — it changes lives, rebuilds confidence, and opens doors that many children were told were closed to them.
A Truly Holistic Approach to Learning
What sets BESTuition apart is the depth of its commitment to the whole child. Core subjects — Maths, English, and Science — sit at the heart of the curriculum, supported by Art, History, Music, and more. Qualifications span Primary through to GCSE, Functional Skills, and ASDAN, delivered one-to-one or in small groups of no more than four. Every lesson is bespoke, shaped by assessment, past records, and each student's current circumstances, and adapted continuously as the student grows and progresses.
Crucially, BESTuition's support extends beyond the student. An onsite Educational Psychologist works with families to help parents and carers understand the emotional challenges their children face, and to ensure that learning is seamless between sessions and home. This partnership model — inclusive, compassionate, and built on trust — is at the very heart of everything BESTuition does.
Championing Those Who Need It Most
BESTuition's service is specifically designed to reach those most at risk of being left behind — children in the Looked After Care system, pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, and those who have been excluded from mainstream education. With referrals linked to Education, Health and Care Plans and an in-house Careers Advisor supporting young people's futures, BESTuition stands as a complete support system for some of the region's most vulnerable learners.
A Community Award Richly Deserved
The Diamond Community Award recognises organisations that make a profound and positive difference to the communities they serve. BESTuition does this every single day — raising the enthusiasm, confidence, and aspirations of children who had begun to believe they were not capable of more. Under the leadership of CEO Amando Brown, recently recognised as Best Family Business Leader 2026, BESTuition continues to grow its reach and deepen its impact across the West Midlands.
Congratulations to Amando and the entire BESTuition team. Your dedication to every child in your care is an inspiration. This award is a true reflection of the remarkable difference you make — one student at a time.
